The Green belt route - is it worth exploring?

    Dear all,

I have just discovered this route in Komoot application and created a 6 day tour (492km) for next year. I wonder if anyone has got any experience with the whole route or at least some parts?

On my way to Tobermory last week, I rode one short part of the Green belt rout from Georgetown to Caledonia trail and the shoulder was not wide enough for comfort, although the road was not terribly busy.

Is this yet another Ontario "trail" just by name, not safe for cycling, a true gem for touring enthusiasts or something in between?

    Any tips are welcome!
