Sharing with you some cycling trips in Spain created by Rutas Pangea, a Spanish company offering guided and self guided cycling trips in Spain.  I participated in several of their guided trips between March and July of 2023 in different regions of Spain and highly recommend their routes and services.  The following trips can be guided or self-guided on quiet secondary roads or , if you prefer, they can also be done on gravel and mountain bike routes. 

The Cid's Route: 10 days from Burgos to Valencia, riding through majestic inland regions of Spain and following the footsteps of El Cid during the 11th century. 

Beaches and Cliff's of Cadiz: 7 days of easy riding by the Mediterranean Sea following the Eurovelo 8 route.  Enjoy excellent views, historical towns and natural parks of extraordinary beauty.  

El Camino de Santiago from Madrid: 12 days of riding from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela. You will leave the City of Madrid by bike, pedal through the Sierra de Guadarrama, through the provinces of Segovia, Valladolid and Leon before entering Galicia and arriving in Santiago de Compostela. Walking or cycling El Camino is an incredible experience enhanced by shared camaraderie with other pilgrims along the way. 

Rutas Pangea will be announcing additional cycling trips in Spain for 2024 early in the new year.
