Be advised this is an Urban Roller class ride. It isn't a slow, or beginner ride. You should be able to cruise at about 20 km/h for 15 minutes at a stretch, and be comfortable riding grouped with other riders on city streets.

Start: 6:30 PM, at the corner of Vetmar Avenue and Living Crescent, near Elgin Mills Road and Highway 404 in Markham A little faster and definitely more rural than the typical Friday Night Ride. Ellie's Excellent Evening Escape goes from the Victoria Square neighbourhood of Markham to Stouffville and back. With only 10 turns and 11 stoplights across the entire route time will just fly by. Always bring a helmet & a spare inner tube. Also, depending upon the time of the year, it may be dark for part of this ride, or while you are riding home, so have working front & rear lights. It also may be quite chilly, so bring some warm clothes.
