Remember: Have your tires fully inflated, wear your helmet, and bring a spare inner tube for YOUR bike.
Weather: Reluctantly we have decided to cancel the ride for Sunday August 30. The predicted weather for Keswick looks to be rainy. Hoping for better weather, we will have the Leisure Wheeler Country Cruise next Sunday September 6. It will be necessary to re-register.
Arrive at 9:45 AM, 15 minutes before the start of the ride so that you will not keep your group waiting- (Allow for unforseen construction, parking problems, getting your bike ready, using a washroom on the way, etc.)
A pretty ride along the shores of Lake Simcoe from Keswick to Sibbald Point Park and back. Bring lunch for a picnic in the park. Bring a swimsuit to check out the water.
Starting Point:
St. Thomas Aquinas School - Northeast corner of Old Homestead Rd. and Metro Rd., Keswick.
Directions by car to start: Take 404 north. Turn left on Woodbine Ave. (Regional Rd. 8). Go north to Old Homestead Rd. (Garden Centre on right, church on left). Left (west) on Old Homestead Rd. to St. Thomas Aquinas School-262 Old Homestead Rd. Turn right into parking lot on west side of school.
