The weather this Sunday does not look good for cycling, and although it does not look particularily good for walking either, if you dress warmly and bring an umbrella, feel free to join us for a walk. Let's meet at about 10:00 AM at Sherbourne Station, Glen Road entrance. The walk will begin at 10:10 AM.
Elena will lead us on a 9 Km walk, mostly on quiet streets, visiting some historic and other interesting sites. We will stop at the excellent Rooster Coffee House before the mid-point of the walk. We will end at Greenwood Station where there are a number of places to stop for lunch or a snack on the Danforth.
Some of the Points of Interest along the way include:
- 0.0 Km – Sherbourne Station (start of walk)
- 2.9 Km – The Rooster Coffee House (coffee, washroom)
- 8.9 Km – Greenwood Station (end of walk)
