Alpha House's RIDE For Refuge will take place on October 4th, setting out from their centre at 647 Broadview Ave. The Cycling route is 10km and is equipped with a rest stop located at the 5km mark. This route can also be looped twice for a 20km ride. There will also be walking routes available for those who wish to run or walk. The event includes a post ride BBQ/party with music, prizes and food courtesy of various corporate sponsors. Proceeds from this event will support Alpha House Recovery Community and their new Step-Up House Project. This is a Peer 2 Peer fundraising event and they welcome supporters and participants to share the event page and information with the wider community, this can be found here:
