Labour Day Long Weekend

Saturday, September 2 to Monday, September 4, 2023

Registration Opens Saturday, July 8th at 8 am

Cutoff for registration will be July 30, 2023.


We will explore the various paths and byways of Brant County where the TBN has never been before. An unbelievable variety of quiet roads to explore just a short distance from Toronto.  This is the perfect trip for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. 

Accommodations


Participants will be staying at the Best Western Brantford Hotel and Conference Centre.  The price per person for a double room for two nights is $170.  Price includes a buffet breakfast and use of the pool, hot tub, fitness center, and high-speed internet.  If you would like a single room, please contact the trip organizer, Dennis as there may be a limited number available for $340 .

Cycling

Saturday we will ride around the Mount Pleasant area south of Brantford. Terrain is small rolling hills on winding roads and some paved bike paths. We will visit a phenomenal farm market and a microbrewery.  Sunday we will visit the historic town of Paris and ride northwest to Ayr. Flat roads to start followed by some hills. Monday is devoted to exploring the Grand River valley down to Caledonia. Daily distances from 40 kms to 75kms. Bike paths used on the Saturday and Sunday.  Click here for the RideWithGPS routes.
