Hardwood Ski and Bike has kilometers of beautiful, rolling trails through hardwood and pine forests for Nordic skiing & snowshoeing. The ski trail network consists of 8 different loops ranging from 3 km to 22 km. There is a trail for every level of ability, from beginner to elite racer on terrain that ranges from gently rolling to challenging. Hardwood grooms all of the trails for both Classic and Skate skiing,
GETTING THERE: 400 North to Barrie. Take the 400 extension north of Barrie. Take the first exit off the 400 extension onto Forbes Rd (exit #111). Turn left at stop sign off the ramp and follow Forbes Rd. (Old Barrie Road) NE for 10 km. Hardwood Ski & Bike will be on the left hand side of the road, in between Line 5 and Line 6.
