President's Message

Welcome all to our new, lean and clean Chain of Events. This is a work-in-progress and will evolve over time. Let us know what you think. We believe this fresh look will provide us with more opportunities to highlight TBN events and activities with brief teasers, with links to TBN website pages and calendar postings where complete details are available.

Some more exciting news: We are hosting an introductory curling event for anyone who would like to give it a try. Check out the "Winter" section below.

Lastly, we have two news sponsors: The Biking Lawyer LLP and Expedia Cruises Midtown Toronto.

Here's hoping that spring will soon be on the horizon!

Cycling

Zwift your way to winter fitness with TBN!

In addition to our three daytime weekday rides using the online Zwift platform, our calendar is expanding with some Wednesday evening and Saturday morning rides. Join club president Italo Bravo and take on the challenges of the Tour de Zwift 2026 group rides.

Trips

Start planning for our 2026 trips

This year's overnight trips will offer much to choose from for all TBN riders: the Niagara region, our Cyclon weekend July 31-Aug. 3 at Brock University in St. Catharines (save the dates!), and cycling ventures in Collingwood, Waterloo, Simcoe County and Orillia.

Education

Join us for TBN’s ongoing Winter City Walks, taking place every Sunday at 10:00 am. While we walk, John Burdett, our knowledgable guide, will help us learn about city sights and historical curiosities.

Winter

Winter No Drop Hiking continues (mostly in the city or a short drive to starts).

Winter Hiking Program continues, for vigorous hikers keen to explore country trails (usually around 12 km).

Winter Olympics are coming up and here's an opportunity to try Canada's other great game on ice with your TBN buddies, Curling.

Introducing TBN's Newest Sponsor

As a longtime admirer of TBN, The Biking Lawyer LLP is very excited to sign up as a sponsor. We are a law firm based in Toronto specializing in bike crash related personal injury law. However, beyond helping individual cyclists in need, we advocate province wide for the safety and betterment of the cycling community. We look forward to supporting and riding with TBN in 2026.
