The Opportunity Road Ride run is annually by the Merit Award Bursary program (www.meritaward.ca).  Merit is an excellent, 100% donor funded program that supports post-secondary education for high-achieving youth from disadvantaged families in the GTA through the awarding of bursaries ranging from $500 to $5000.  In 2024, 66% of those who won bursaries from Merit came from families with total income of less than 60K, and 47% came from families earning less than 40K.  Almost 97% of those who received bursaries were first or second-generation Canadians.

There will be rides of 80k and 25k, west along the Waterfront Trail starting at Casimir Gzowski Park on Lakeshore Blvd near High Park, out and back along the waterfront.  A celebratory picnic will be held at the end.  Why not create a TBN team with friends?
