Situated about two and half hours from Toronto, Goderich is nestled along the shores of Lake Huron. It's historic elements, culture and arts scene and natural amenities make it one of the best small towns to explore in Canada.  The charm and character of the area has coined it “Canada’s prettiest town”. Accommodation

TBN has reserved a limited number of motel rooms at Maple Leaf Motel, Cedar Lodge Motel, and The Comfort Inn.  If you are sharing a motel room with someone, only one person needs to purchase the motel room, as the prices are based upon the room for up to 2 people.  The other person registers by choosing the register (sharing room with someone else option).   Participants are also welcome to arrange their own accommodation.

Itinerary

Please note the itinerary is subject to change based on the preferences of the group, conditions on the trails, and weather conditions.  All activities are optional.  Bike rides will be lead at the Urban Roller or Country Cruise level.

Friday: 3:30 pm start at the Point Clark Lighthouse parking lot.  Urban Roller ride from Point Clark Lighthouse to Kincardine (ridewithgps.com), 35 km, along the coast of Lake Huron. Option also for a 54 km Country Cruise ride- Short Tour from Point Clark Lighthouse to Ripley and Back (ridewithgps.com) .  Dinner (perhaps a patio or picnic), Sunset walk along the beach..

Saturday: 9:15 am start. Country Cruise ride to Blyth Backroads to Blyth - A bike ride in Goderich, Ontario (ridewithgps.com), 73 km. Meet at Victoria St South and St David St.

Option also for a 50 km Urban Roller ride via G2G rail trail.  Meet at The Maple Leaf Motel, 54 Victoria St. North at 9:15 am. For more information on the charming village of Blyth, check out Blyth, Ontario - a unique village in Huron County (blythnow.ca). free time, Dinner in Goderich.  Lunch in Blyth at Cowbell Brewing Co. or Tim Horton's.

Sunday: Bike ride to Bayfield, with either a short , medium, or long return (total lengths of 46 km, 67 km and 76 km, respectively, with elevation gains of 198 m, 316 m, and 492 m).  The Long ride will start at 8 am and the short ride will start at 9 am.  The starting point is Cambria Road South and Elgin Ave. East. For more information about Bayfield, check out Village of Bayfield.  Brunch in Bayfield or bring your own lunch for a picnic.

Refund Policy: Participants must cancel by August 23, 2021 to receive a refund.
