Don't go to this bike shop you will probably get rip off, especially have a decent bike. The owner claims he will honour warranty but later on he tells me to call the manufacture or it was my fault. I saw a customer fighting him due to poor service. Do yourself a favour and go to a bike shop in Toronto.
Poplar Plains Road is a good one. If you don;t mind arterials there is a nice down/up on Sheppard just East of Bathurst. Wilson Avenue between Yonge and Avenue Road is another good stiff climb, same corner go the other way along York Mills toward Bayview.Ab Exercises
Most important will be how comfortable you feel on the bike, and how its setup for you. If your setup properly on the correct frame and all, it will make longer riding much more comforting. The fatality was caused long after Shepperd got off his bike. The second he got off his bike he ceased to be a cyclist and hence his death has little to do with the safety of cyclists in the city.
