There is another public meeting regarding a proposed improvement to the Waterfront Trail in the evening of Wednesday February 1st. The details are provided below.
The group of local residents that so strongly opposed the planned improvements at Bluffer's Park 2 weeks ago has threatened to come out for the Harrison Estates meeting as well. The format will be different this time (an open house rather than a group question-and-answer), but a show of support from the cycling community could be a good thing, especially since the ward councillor is deferring the decision whether or not to proceed to City council. Let's remind Council that the city's open spaces are there for all residents to use.
