After last Monday morning’s memorial ride here in Toronto for Jenna Morrison, I launched an online petition calling for mandatory side guards on trucks. Eventually, I will deliver the petitions and list of signatories to the new Minister of Transportation, Bob Chiarelli. Besides saving the lives of cyclists and pedestrians, side guards also improve the fuel efficiency of trucks. TBN members can sign the petition via a link from this URL:
