Spend two nights at YMCA Camp Wanakita, located on beautiful Koshlong Lake, in the Haliburton Highlands.
Friday snacks and five delicious meals are included in the cost of $207 for members and $217 for non-members. For those that come early, there is an optional Friday 5.30 p.m. dinner at the camp that costs $11.00. Accommodation is in heated cabins, with bunks & cots.
Outdoor activities include classic skiing on 25 kilometres of onsite groomed trails, as well as snowshoeing (provided), ice-skating on the lake (bring your own), toboganning, and a night ski to a bonfire. For those that like challenges, there are also ‘rope-and-tire’ balancing, climbing, and dangling exercises.
The adjacent Drift Inn will be our group’s exclusive hub for socializing and casual activities throughout the weekend. Other indoor activities include reading by the fireplace, group games, crafts, yoga, and drumming.
Spaces are limited on this trip, so register early.
Cancellation policy: If a group of 10 people is not achieved, the trip will be cancelled and all costs reimbursed. If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund (minus an administrative fee of 10%) if there is a waiting list with someone of the same sex. Otherwise, it is up to you to sell your spot to someone who can occupy the room.
Registration opens for TBN members on Saturday November 8, 2014 and opens for non-members on Saturday November 15, 2014.
